As a Japan Master Specialist, I have found that more people are interested in a custom itinerary to Japan instead of the escorted/guided tour sample shown here. However, they do make for great starting points when discussing a trip to Japan. You can see what is possible to do and know what most people are interested in seeing and doing. 

I can easily customize this itinerary and tailor it to your travel style and needs but keep in mind that it will cost more. One benefit of traveling with a group of people is that you will share costs.
